Physics Laboratory
Overview
The Physics Laboratory at Government Polytechnic, Gopamau, Hardoi provides students with a dedicated space to explore fundamental and applied concepts in physics through structured experiments and demonstrations. The lab bridges theoretical classroom learning with practical observation and measurement.
Facilities & Equipment
Our physics lab is equipped with wall-mounted and bench apparatus for mechanics experiments, including pulley systems, worm and worm wheel assemblies, and related demonstration units. Students work under faculty guidance to study forces, motion, mechanical advantage, and energy transformations using industry-standard teaching equipment.
Learning Environment
The laboratory features educational charts and posters on topics such as mechanical energy, optics, and core physics principles displayed prominently in the teaching area. Spacious work areas, proper lighting, and an organized layout support focused practical sessions for diploma students across all branches.
Objectives
The Physics Laboratory aims to strengthen analytical thinking, experimental skills, and scientific reasoning. Through hands-on activities, students learn to record observations, interpret data, and apply physics concepts to engineering and technology problems.
